There is plenty of on-street parking. S-Line streetcar is a 3 min walk and the unit is within walking distance of a grocery store, coffee shops, & restaurants. Great WiFi, well-stocked kitchen. Fully enclosed backyard with shared sitting area and table (summer time) to enjoy.

Good to know

Spacious and comfortable one bedroom, one bathroom basement apartment. The unit has a seperate entrance through the backyard and is complete seperate from the rest of the house. If you need to work, there is a dedicated workspace with adjustable height desk and office chair.

Other Details to Note

This apartment is the basement level of the home. There is an upstairs apartment where guests may enter through the backyard. The units are seperated by a solid wood door in the basement which is dead bolted on both sides. There is no temperature control in the basement apartment. Air vents can be open or closed depending on your comfort level. During the summer guests usually keep them closed since it stays cool. The winter time they are kept open to allow heat when it’s on. There is a portal heather in the bedroom closet that heats up the unit quite nicely. There is a low spot in the bathroom so if you are taller than 6’2” you will need to watch your head.

There are tenants above you so if you could please keep noise down between 10pm-8am, we would appreciate. When cooking steak or other strong-smelling foods, we ask that you please use the grill on the back patio. The grill includes a stovetop burner for your convenience. Patio lights can be plugged into the outlet located at the top of the stairs leading to the basement. Thank you.

Guest Access

The private entrance is through the shared backyard and down the side stairs. During the summer there is a sectional and patio table. There is also grill you are welcome to use all year long. There is access to the laundry room which is shared with the upstairs apartment.

Sorry for the late review, I was delayed by other matters. This was a really great Airbnb stay. The host had clearly thought everything through in advance. As long as you carefully read the check-in instructions, everything you need is there and all questions are answered. The host also prepared some welcome snacks, which turned out to be incredibly helpful on a couple of nights when I came back late and was very hungry. Street parking was extremely convenient, right next to the house, which made things even easier. I genuinely hope I can stay here again the next time I visit Salt Lake City.

I had a great stay here. It is quite and comfortable, has a lot of space. Great value. Just the sound from the heater over the bed might be a little noisy.

Great space and convenient location. The hosts included snacks, coffee and toiletries. We would highly recommend this clean apartment and are looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to SLC.

Centrally located (walking distance) to Coffee Shops, restaurants, & Bars. S-Line 300 East Streetcar station stop is a 3-minute walk if using public transportation from the airport. Easy access to I-15 and I-80 if driving and there is plenty of on street parking on Commonwealth Ave.
