This private main-floor unit is designed to be a comfortable home base for your stay in Salt Lake City. With two bedrooms, each featuring a king-size bed, there’s plenty of room for couples, friends, families, or anyone who appreciates a little extra sleeping space. The living room features a large sectional, Smart TV, and plenty of space to relax after a day exploring the city or skiing in the mountains. A dedicated workspace with an adjustable sit/stand desk and ergonomic office chair makes it easy to stay productive during longer stays. The full kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, and everyday cooking essentials. The separate dining area provides plenty of room for meals or gathering together. Both bedrooms include king beds, room-darkening shades, luggage racks, and closet storage. The bathroom includes a tub/shower combination and fresh towels. Outside, enjoy the fully fenced shared backyard with a covered patio, outdoor dining area, seating, and BBQ grill. The backyard is shared with guests staying in the separate basement rental. Shared laundry is available in the basement common area. The main-floor unit and basement apartment are separate, secure living spaces with locking deadbolt doors, so guests cannot access each other’s private accommodations.

This listing is the private main-floor unit of a home with a separate rental in the basement. Each unit has its own private living space and secure, deadbolt-locking door. Guests in either unit cannot access the other unit’s private space. The laundry/common area in the basement and the fully fenced backyard are shared between both rentals, so you may occasionally see other guests in these areas. Because there is a separate rental below, you may occasionally hear normal household noise between the units. We ask all guests to be considerate of one another and observe quiet hours from 10pm to 8am.

Quiet hours: Please keep noise to a minimum between 10 PM and 8 AM, especially in the shared laundry/common area and backyard, out of consideration for guests in the other rental. Shared spaces: The backyard and basement laundry/common area are shared with guests staying in the basement rental. Please be respectful of other guests and leave shared areas clean and ready for others to enjoy. Laundry: Please remove clothing promptly when your wash or dry cycle is complete so the machines are available for other guests. No parties or events: Parties, events, and disruptive gatherings are not permitted. Registered guests only: Only the number of guests included in the reservation may stay overnight unless approved in advance. Smoking: No smoking or vaping inside the home. Please smoke outside of the backyard fence in the driveway or on the sidewalk since other guest may be using the backyard. Respect the home: Please treat the property, furnishings, and shared spaces with care and report any accidental damage or maintenance issues as soon as possible.

Centrally located in South Salt Lake, the home offers easy access to some of the best of Salt Lake City. Sugar House is just minutes away for restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and nightlife, while downtown Salt Lake City is about a 10-minute drive. The neighborhood itself is residential and convenient, with grocery stores, restaurants, and everyday essentials nearby. It’s also a great home base for exploring the Wasatch Mountains, with several of Utah’s world-famous ski resorts about 35 minutes away.

Guest Access

Guests have private access to the entire main-floor unit, including both bedrooms, the bathroom, full kitchen, dining area, and living room. Stairs from the main floor lead to the shared basement laundry/common area. A separate rental is located on the other side of this area. Both units have their own locking doors with deadbolts, so guests cannot access each other’s private living spaces. The laundry/common area and fully fenced backyard, including the patio, outdoor seating, and BBQ grill, are shared with guests staying in the basement rental.

Getting around is easy whether you’re driving or using public transit. The S-Line streetcar is about a 3-minute walk from the home and connects with the TRAX light rail system for access to downtown Salt Lake City and other areas of the valley. By car, Sugar House is about 4 minutes away and downtown Salt Lake City is about 10 minutes away. Salt Lake City International Airport is also easily accessible. Guests have a designated parking space on the right side of the driveway, directly in front of the shed next to the fence. Heading to the mountains? Several of the area’s world-famous ski resorts are approximately 35 minutes away, depending on traffic and weather conditions.
